Polypropylene
At DPS Group we predominantly utilise solid polypropylene sheets to manufacture your products. Polypropylene sheets are available in various bright and attractive colours.
Manufactured from a by product of the petroleum industry, Polypropylene is a thermoplastic material offering a combination of lightness, rigidity, toughness, heat resistance, chemical resistance and high surface gloss. Polypropylene sheets are chemically inert and do not contain any chloride, lead or other heavy metals, hence making it a non toxic material.
Due to its high impact resistance, water resistance, archival safe and food grade safe properties, polypropylene is ideal for display and packaging products. Polypropylene will not tear or crack when stress is applied which makes it an excellent material to use for die cutting and forming products and with its high melting point of 160°C, makes the material an ideal choice for many other applications.
Polypropylene is an environmentally friendly material and is 100% recyclable.
